Produit Sécurité

Peroxydes organiques are thermally unstable substances that require careful management. Notre comprehensive product safety program ensures rigorous hazard assessment, safe handling protocols, and controlled logistics for every product we deliver.

⚠️ Hazard Évaluation for Peroxydes organiques

Each Perodox® product undergoes systematic hazard characterization covering:

  • Inflammabilité : Flash point determination, flammability limits, and auto-ignition temperature testing per UN and GHS test methods.
  • Thermal Stability: Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and accelerating rate calorimetry (ARC) to determine self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT), heat of decomposition, and thermal runaway potential.
  • Reactivity: Compatibility testing with common materials, incompatibility with contaminants (acids, bases, metals, amines), and sensitivity to mechanical impact and friction.
  • Decomposition Produits: Analyse of decomposition gases and residues to assess secondary hazards in fire or upset conditions.

📋 Manipulation en toute sécurité Lignes directrices

We provide detailed safe handling guidance for all products, including:

  • Maximum storage temperatures and temperature control requirements specific to each product grade
  • Ventilation requirements for storage and handling areas
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) specifications including chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, and flame-retardant clothing
  • Spill containment and cleanup procedures with compatible absorbent materials
  • Segregation from incompatible materials (reducing agents, acids, promoters, metal salts)

🚛 Stockage and Transportation – Logistique à température contrôlée

Peroxydes organiques require temperature-controlled storage and transport to prevent hazardous decomposition. Notre logistics program includes:

  • Température-controlled warehouses at our Zibo facility with continuous monitoring, alarms, and backup cooling systems
  • Refrigerated truck transport for products with SADT below ambient temperature, with real-time GPS and temperature tracking
  • Conformité with international transport regulations including ADR (road), IMDG Code (sea), and IATA DGR (air) for dangerous goods
  • Specially designed packaging with temperature indicators, emergency venting, and appropriate cushioning materials
  • Pre-qualified logistics providers with dangerous goods handling certification and training

Réglementation Conformité

We maintain full compliance with chemical regulations in all markets where our products are manufactured, sold, and used. Notre regulatory affairs team proactively monitors evolving requirements globally.

EU

REACH Regulation

Tout Perodox® products exported to the European Union are registered under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). We maintain up-to-date registration dossiers and safety data sheets in compliance with the latest REACH requirements, working through our EU-based Only Representative.

US

TSCA Conformité

Produits exported to the États-Unis comply with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Tout substances are listed on the TSCA Inventory or qualify for applicable exemptions. We monitor EPA regulatory developments including TSCA Section 6 risk evaluations relevant to peroxide chemistry.

China

MEE New Chimie Substance Registration

Tout products manufactured at our Zibo facility comply with China\'s Ministry of Ecology and Environnement (MEE) regulations under Order No. 12 (Measures for the Environnement Direction of New Chimie Substances). Existing chemical substances are listed in the Inventory of Existing Chimie Substances in China (IECSC).

Mondial

GHS Classification & Labeling

Tout Perodox® and AZO initiator products are classified and labeled according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). We maintain GHS-compliant labels and Fiches de données de sécurité in multiple languages for all destination markets, updated to reflect the latest regulatory revisions.

Service client and Technique Services

We go beyond supplying products — we provide comprehensive technical support to ensure our customers can use organic peroxides safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

📄

Fiches de données de sécurité (SDS)

Comprehensive GHS-compliant SDS documents available in Chinese, Anglais, and other languages as required by destination markets. SDS documents are updated at least every three years or when new hazard information becomes available. Digital copies are available on request and included with all product shipments.

Durable Produit Design

We are actively investing in R&D to develop next-generation products that deliver superior performance with reduced environmental and safety impacts.

🧪

Less Hazardous Formulations

Notre R&D teams are developing phlegmatized and diluted organic peroxide formulations that maintain reactive performance while reducing hazard classification levels. This includes water-based dispersions, polymeric carriers, and masterbatch formulations that improve safety during handling and transport.

🌿

Bio-Based Initiateurs Recherche

We are exploring bio-based raw materials for selected organic peroxide products, including fatty acid-derived peroxides and bio-sourced solvents. This research program aims to reduce the fossil carbon footprint of our product portfolio while maintaining performance characteristics.

📦

Emballage Innovations

We are redesigning product packaging for safer handling — including tamper-evident closures, easy-pour designs that reduce spill risk, pre-weighed soluble packaging for solid peroxides that eliminates operator exposure, and returnable IBC systems for high-volume customers.

📊

Performances Optimization

Developing high-activity initiator grades that achieve equivalent polymerization results at lower dosing rates, reducing the quantity of peroxide required per ton of polymer produced. This supports our customers\' sustainability goals through reduced chemical consumption and lower transport emissions.

Produit Lifecycle Évaluation

We are building lifecycle assessment (LCA) capabilities to quantify the environmental impacts of our products across their full lifecycle and identify improvement opportunities.

Notre LCA approach follows ISO 14040/14044 standards and considers the full lifecycle: raw material extraction, manufacturing at our Zibo facility, packaging, distribution to customers, use-phase impacts in polymer production, and end-of-life management. Initial cradle-to-gate LCA studies for key Perodox® grades are underway, with full lifecycle assessments planned for selected product lines.

📐

Cradle-to-Gate LCA

Quantifying impacts from raw material extraction through the factory gate, covering global warming potential, water consumption, resource depletion, and ecotoxicity indicators.

🔗

Cradle-to-Grave LCA

Extending analysis to include product use in polymer manufacturing and end-of-life disposal, providing complete environmental profile for customer sustainability reporting.

🎯
