Sustainability

Improving Safety and Environmental Performance

Safety and environmental stewardship are non-negotiable priorities at Do Sender Chem. We operate under the principle that all incidents are preventable, and we continuously invest in systems, training, and technology to protect our people, our neighbors, and the environment.

Our HSE commitment

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) are embedded in our culture. We are committed to zero harm for our employees, contractors, and communities. Our HSE policy sets the standard for how we design processes, operate facilities, and engage with stakeholders across our global footprint.

Safety First

Every employee has the authority and obligation to stop work if they perceive an unsafe condition. Our goal is zero process safety events and zero recordable injuries across all operations.

Environmental Responsibility

We minimize our environmental footprint through efficient resource use, waste reduction, emissions control, and compliance with all applicable environmental regulations in China and internationally.

Process safety management for organic peroxide manufacturing

Organic peroxides require rigorous process safety management. Our Zibo facility employs internationally recognized safety standards with multiple layers of protection to prevent and mitigate potential incidents.

🏢

Inherently Safer Design

We design processes to minimize hazard potential by reducing inventory, substituting less hazardous materials where feasible, and moderating operating conditions to inherently lower risk levels.

🔍

Hazard Analysis

Comprehensive HAZOP, LOPA, and QRA studies are conducted regularly to identify process hazards, evaluate risk scenarios, and define appropriate safeguards for all organic peroxide production units.

🛡️

Layers of Protection

Multiple independent protection layers (MIPLs) including automated safety instrumented systems, emergency relief systems, and physical containment ensure robust defense against process deviations.

Environmental management

Our environmental management system is built on ISO 14001 principles and focuses on continuous improvement across waste, water, and air emissions performance.

📄

ISO 14001 Certification

Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, ensuring systematic identification and control of environmental impacts, legal compliance, and continual improvement objectives.

♻️

Waste Reduction

We pursue waste minimization at source, resource recovery, and responsible disposal. Our target is a 25% reduction in waste intensity by 2030 compared to our baseline year.

💧

Water Stewardship

Water is carefully managed through conservation, recycling, and treatment. We monitor water usage intensity and are committed to a 20% reduction by 2030 across our Zibo operations.

🌬️

Air Emissions Control

VOCs and other air emissions are controlled through closed systems, thermal oxidizers, and continuous monitoring. We regularly report emissions data and work toward increasingly stringent targets.
