Safety Program and Performance
Safety is our license to operate, especially in organic peroxide manufacturing. Our comprehensive safety management system ensures the wellbeing of our employees, communities, and the environment.
Safety is our license to operate.
At Shandong Do Sender Chemicals, safety is not just a priority — it is a core value embedded in every decision we make. As a manufacturer of Perodox® organic peroxides and AZO initiators, we work with reactive chemistries that demand the highest standards of safety management. Our goal is simple: zero harm to people, zero damage to the environment.
We believe every incident is preventable. This conviction drives our investment in systems, training, culture, and technology to protect our 100+ employees, the communities around our facilities, and the customers who rely on our products.
Safety is our license to operate, especially in organic peroxide manufacturing. The reactive nature of our products demands that safety is never compromised. We hold ourselves to the highest standards because anything less is unacceptable.
Comprehensive safety governance.
Our safety management system integrates ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standards with Process Safety Management (PSM) specifically tailored for organic peroxide manufacturing operations.

Safety performance by the numbers.
We measure what matters. Our safety metrics are tracked rigorously and reviewed by leadership monthly to drive continuous improvement.
Metrics reflect most recent 12-month reporting period. TRIR and LTIR calculated per 200,000 work hours.
Building a culture of safety.
Beyond systems and procedures, sustainable safety performance requires a culture where every employee feels empowered and responsible for safety.
Behavior-Based Safety Program
Our BBS program encourages observation and feedback of safety behaviors. Peers and supervisors conduct structured safety observations, and data is analyzed to identify trends and proactively address at-risk behaviors before incidents occur.
STOP Work Authority
Every employee — from the newest operator to senior management — has the authority and obligation to stop any work they believe to be unsafe. This is a non-negotiable right, exercised without fear of reprisal.
Safety Observation Program
Managers conduct regular safety observations (formal walk-throughs) to engage with frontline teams, identify hazards, and demonstrate visible safety leadership. Every observation is documented and tracked to closure.
Recognition & Awards
We celebrate safety excellence through quarterly and annual awards programs that recognize individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding safety leadership, proactive hazard reporting, and contributions to our safety culture.
Ready to respond.
Our emergency preparedness program ensures we can respond quickly and effectively to any incident, protecting our people, the community, and the environment.
On-Site Emergency Response Team
Dedicated trained responders equipped with specialized PPE, firefighting, and spill containment equipment.
Community Coordination
Active coordination with Zibo fire services, environmental protection bureau, and emergency management agencies.
Regular Drills
Monthly site-level drills, quarterly community-level exercises, and annual full-scale emergency simulations.
Mutual Aid Agreements
Formal mutual aid agreements with neighboring chemical facilities for shared emergency response resources.
Learning to get better every day.
We never stop learning. Every incident, near-miss, and observation is an opportunity to strengthen our safety systems and prevent future occurrences.
Root Cause Analysis
Every incident and significant near-miss undergoes structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, and TapRooT®. Findings are tracked in a centralized corrective action system with defined owners and deadlines.
Lessons Learned Sharing
Safety alerts and lessons learned are shared across all Do Sender Chem facilities, with our customers, and through industry networks. We publish quarterly safety bulletins to disseminate key learnings throughout the organization.
Safety Stand-Downs
We conduct quarterly safety stand-downs where normal operations pause for focused safety discussions, training refreshers, and interactive workshops. These sessions reinforce critical safety messages across the entire workforce.
Recognized for safety excellence.
Our commitment to safety has been recognized through certifications, awards, and memberships that validate our performance and drive continued improvement.
