Product stewardship is a fundamental pillar of our commitment to Responsible Care® and sustainable development. We take a lifecycle approach — ensuring that safety, health, and environmental considerations are integrated from the earliest stages of research through to customer application and ultimate disposal.
At Do Sender Chemicals, product stewardship means going beyond regulatory compliance to proactively identify and manage the risks and opportunities associated with our Perodox® organic peroxides and AZO initiators. We are committed to transparent communication, rigorous safety management, and continuous improvement of our products' sustainability profile.

Product Safety
Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances that require careful management. Our comprehensive product safety program ensures rigorous hazard assessment, safe handling protocols, and controlled logistics for every product we deliver.
⚠️ Hazard Assessment for Organic Peroxides
Each Perodox® product undergoes systematic hazard characterization covering:
- Flammability: Flash point determination, flammability limits, and auto-ignition temperature testing per UN and GHS test methods.
- Thermal Stability: Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and accelerating rate calorimetry (ARC) to determine self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT), heat of decomposition, and thermal runaway potential.
- Reactivity: Compatibility testing with common materials, incompatibility with contaminants (acids, bases, metals, amines), and sensitivity to mechanical impact and friction.
- Decomposition Products: Analysis of decomposition gases and residues to assess secondary hazards in fire or upset conditions.
📋 Safe Handling Guidelines
We provide detailed safe handling guidance for all products, including:
- Maximum storage temperatures and temperature control requirements specific to each product grade
- Ventilation requirements for storage and handling areas
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) specifications including chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, and flame-retardant clothing
- Spill containment and cleanup procedures with compatible absorbent materials
- Segregation from incompatible materials (reducing agents, acids, promoters, metal salts)
🚛 Storage and Transportation – Temperature-Controlled Logistics
Organic peroxides require temperature-controlled storage and transport to prevent hazardous decomposition. Our logistics program includes:
- Temperature-controlled warehouses at our Zibo facility with continuous monitoring, alarms, and backup cooling systems
- Refrigerated truck transport for products with SADT below ambient temperature, with real-time GPS and temperature tracking
- Compliance with international transport regulations including ADR (road), IMDG Code (sea), and IATA DGR (air) for dangerous goods
- Specially designed packaging with temperature indicators, emergency venting, and appropriate cushioning materials
- Pre-qualified logistics providers with dangerous goods handling certification and training
Regulatory Compliance
We maintain full compliance with chemical regulations in all markets where our products are manufactured, sold, and used. Our regulatory affairs team proactively monitors evolving requirements globally.
REACH Regulation
All Perodox® products exported to the European Union are registered under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). We maintain up-to-date registration dossiers and safety data sheets in compliance with the latest REACH requirements, working through our EU-based Only Representative.
TSCA Compliance
Products exported to the United States comply with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). All substances are listed on the TSCA Inventory or qualify for applicable exemptions. We monitor EPA regulatory developments including TSCA Section 6 risk evaluations relevant to peroxide chemistry.
MEE New Chemical Substance Registration
All products manufactured at our Zibo facility comply with China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) regulations under Order No. 12 (Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances). Existing chemical substances are listed in the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IECSC).
GHS Classification & Labeling
All Perodox® and AZO initiator products are classified and labeled according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). We maintain GHS-compliant labels and Safety Data Sheets in multiple languages for all destination markets, updated to reflect the latest regulatory revisions.
Customer Support and Technical Services
We go beyond supplying products — we provide comprehensive technical support to ensure our customers can use organic peroxides safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Comprehensive GHS-compliant SDS documents available in Chinese, English, and other languages as required by destination markets. SDS documents are updated at least every three years or when new hazard information becomes available. Digital copies are available on request and included with all product shipments.
Technical Guidance
Our application specialists provide technical guidance on safe handling, storage, and optimal use of Perodox® products in polymer production — including dosing rates, temperature profiles, and compatibility with other process chemicals. On-site technical support is available for key customers.
24/7 Emergency Response
Our emergency response hotline (+86-533-XXXX-XXX) provides 24/7 access to technical experts who can advise on spill response, firefighting, first aid, and other emergency situations involving organic peroxides. We maintain incident response protocols and can dispatch specialists when needed.
Sustainable Product Design
We are actively investing in R&D to develop next-generation products that deliver superior performance with reduced environmental and safety impacts.
Less Hazardous Formulations
Our R&D teams are developing phlegmatized and diluted organic peroxide formulations that maintain reactive performance while reducing hazard classification levels. This includes water-based dispersions, polymeric carriers, and masterbatch formulations that improve safety during handling and transport.
Bio-Based Initiators Research
We are exploring bio-based raw materials for selected organic peroxide products, including fatty acid-derived peroxides and bio-sourced solvents. This research program aims to reduce the fossil carbon footprint of our product portfolio while maintaining performance characteristics.
Packaging Innovations
We are redesigning product packaging for safer handling — including tamper-evident closures, easy-pour designs that reduce spill risk, pre-weighed soluble packaging for solid peroxides that eliminates operator exposure, and returnable IBC systems for high-volume customers.
Performance Optimization
Developing high-activity initiator grades that achieve equivalent polymerization results at lower dosing rates, reducing the quantity of peroxide required per ton of polymer produced. This supports our customers' sustainability goals through reduced chemical consumption and lower transport emissions.
Product Lifecycle Assessment
We are building lifecycle assessment (LCA) capabilities to quantify the environmental impacts of our products across their full lifecycle and identify improvement opportunities.
Our LCA approach follows ISO 14040/14044 standards and considers the full lifecycle: raw material extraction, manufacturing at our Zibo facility, packaging, distribution to customers, use-phase impacts in polymer production, and end-of-life management. Initial cradle-to-gate LCA studies for key Perodox® grades are underway, with full lifecycle assessments planned for selected product lines.
Cradle-to-Gate LCA
Quantifying impacts from raw material extraction through the factory gate, covering global warming potential, water consumption, resource depletion, and ecotoxicity indicators.
Cradle-to-Grave LCA
Extending analysis to include product use in polymer manufacturing and end-of-life disposal, providing complete environmental profile for customer sustainability reporting.
Hotspot Analysis
Using LCA results to identify environmental hotspots in our product lifecycle and focus improvement efforts where they have greatest impact, driving eco-design decisions.

Claims Substantiation
All environmental and sustainability claims about our products are substantiated by verifiable data. We do not engage in greenwashing or make unverified claims about product sustainability. Technical data sheets provide objective performance information, and sustainability claims are supported by documented evidence.

We provide clear and complete information about product hazards, safe use requirements, and environmental characteristics. Our marketing materials accurately represent product capabilities and limitations, enabling customers to make informed decisions about product selection and safe application.
